2012 – Beauty Bloggers’ Review PP Products

Posted on 15. Feb, 2013 by in News & Articles

’The Black Pearl’ is one of the many beauty bloggers
who checked out Paul Penders products this past year.

Beauty bloggers all over the world are taking note of Paul Penders products!

Paul Penders has been in the news all year with reviews by beauty bloggers world-wide: check out the UK’s ‘The Black Pearl Blog,’ Sesame Chew in Singapore at ‘Viva Woman,’ and the folks at ‘Beauty Brains’ in the USA, just to mention a few.

The ‘Black Pearl Blog’ is very complimentary about the use of herbals in PP products while Sesame in Singapore was delighted to find a cosmetic product line that is “Halal Certified.”

What began as an attack on the cold blending process by cosmetic scientists over at ‘Beauty Brains’ turned briefly into a battle royale with comments flying fast-and-furious, ending with a new level of understanding on all sides. You can read all about the controversy by clicking on the link below. We’re very proud of the way our CEO Paul personally stood up for the values of this company!

Who are these bloggers? Read on:

Sandra at The Black Pearl Blog complimented our gentle Cleansing Milk, especially because it includes calendula, one of her “favorite things.” She writes:

“I used it to clean my face and neck, but I also tried it to remove eye make up and it worked well and didn’t irritate my eyes… In my opinion- make up removers should never irritate eyes!”

She also really likes our A.M. Moisturizer, saying:

“I have tried many moisturisers and this one must be one of my favourites.”

About Sandra at THE BLACK PEARL BLOG:

“My name is Sandra. I am 24. I am obsessed with natural skincare, make- up, fashion accessories, photography, handmade jewellery and DIY projects. I also love cooking :) I am married and I am a mother to a beautiful baby boy :) I always loved reading blogs and I finally decided to start my own to share my passions and meet interesting people. I try to stick to natural and organic product reviews and eliminate all harsh chemicals and ingredients from my life.”

We were also delighted to find that VIVA WOMAN , a Health/Wellness Website, has at least 4 blogs out about Paul Penders products! They like us!

VIVA WOMAN is a Singapore-based beauty blog with a keen interest on natural, organic skincare and cosmetics that is updated daily with a weekend edition of fashion commentaries. Many of the articles are written by Sesame Chew who introduces herself this way:

A lively discussion ensued on the Beauty Brains website when the subject of cold processing was raised. Our CEO Paul personally answered all the comments in a rare example of openness and humility.

Who are the ‘BEAUTY BRAINS’ and what do they do? See http://thebeautybrains.com/

“What’s the purpose of the Beauty Brains? We’re here to help you cut through the confusing, misleading and sometimes false information that the beauty companies bombard you with. Our goal is to explain cosmetic science to you in a way that’s entertaining and easy to understand. We believe the more information you have, the better you’ll be able to find products that you like at a price you can afford.”

We especially liked the comments made by Dr. Mike Thair April 4, 2011 at 8:06 pm who wrote:

“An interesting discussion. In my opinion Mr. Paul Penders distinguishes himself from all of the other cosmetics manufacturers in actually engaging in these sorts of conversations personally, and that must be a big plus for his brand name, even if you don’t agree with his opinions.”

Here’s a few others out in ‘Blog World:’

It’s been a year of ups and downs, fierce storms and strong sunlight, tragedies and comedies. Some thought it could be the end of the world but we say it’s the start of something new and better!

May 2013 bring you peace, prosperity, and joy!

Happy New Year!
