Research in United Kingdom shows that:
- Many consumers do not notice that the contents of skin care products can bring harm to their bodies or the natural environment.
- Women on average use at least 12 types of skin care products daily, which contain about 175 kinds of chemicals among them.
- About 60% of the skin care products in the market is absorbed into the body through the skin.
- Every individual absorb no less than 5 pounds of chemicals into his/her body through the skin in a year.
- Many skin care products in the market contain harmful chemicals.
- There are 2,000 to 3,000 chemical ingredients that can cause skin allergy, irritation, hormone imbalance, birth defect, cancers and many more.
- More than 200 types of cancer are claimed to be resulted from chemicals.
- There are about 10,500 kinds of ingredients have not been tested and 1/3 of the personal care products that contain cancer-causing contents can be found in 89% of the skin care products we use.

Madam Chin
Madam Chin, Managing Director of Green Meadow Corporation in Malaysia and Vice President of Training at Paul Penders International South East Asia, does not allow all these to happen…
“All of us must know that skin is the biggest organ of our integumentary system. Many cancer-causing chemicals can be absorbed into our body, even into our blood veins. After more than 10 years, I quit as a Form 6 chemistry teacher and took up a job that was related to health and beauty. All the while, I had been searching for a satisfactory skin care product”, Madam Chin shared.
One and a half years ago, Madam Chin’s sister – who lives in England – gave her a brand’s name of a skin care product – Paul Penders. Although she was very interested in the products, she didn’t know how to become a distributor in Malaysia.

Madam Chin and Paul Penders
In September 2008 she saw Paul Penders’ website and that was when she realized there were few stores selling Paul Penders products in Malaysia. To her surprise, Paul had moved from California to the beautiful island of Langkawi 8 years ago.
In order to expand the position of Paul Penders in Malaysia, Madam Chin stepped onto the land of Langkawi for the first time to meet up with Paul. As both of them had the same aspiration – a good product does not bring harm to human and the environment, they agreed to work together to make things happen. Thus, Paul happily assigned her as the exclusive distributor for Paul Penders products in Malaysia, and Madam Chin herself as Vice President of Training of Paul Penders International, South East Asia.

Who said that only chemicals can preserve cosmetics?
Chemical preservatives started to be used during a time when the use of chemicals became popular. Only few people were thinking ahead, worrying about the negative short and long-term effects these new “chemical wonders” could have on our bodies and the entire world. Because… everything is connected and this certainly is the case with chemicals.
The world seems on its way back to nature with a lot of damage done – and with even more repair work needed on our path backwards (or forwards? or vice versa?
. It all depends on how one looks at it. Education seems the best tool for progress here. But at the same time we encounter a difficult task as it also concerns a change of thinking and habits…. because of: …. fear? A lack of creativity? But it will all lead to more freedom.
In finding answers to the question of how to preserve cosmetics naturally we at Paul Penders use our path backwards (looking to what was used by our parents and grandparents). While doing so, we combine new technology (the path forward) and reach the best solution in trying to make the best from what was already the best in the first place. For example – by using what organic grow methods can produce we utilize Nature to produce the best possible – naturally.
Another way is utilizing the results the crops and provide new ways of using them. One way can be by mixing several of these natural or organic materials and create a synergistic effect by using different materials. The mixed materials can bring even stronger, more potent and more effective results, compared to the total effect of each material, when used one by one.
Here is where I come to answering your question: Paul Penders’ natural preservative system is based on the mixing of several natural ingredients that include essential oils, vitamins, natural anti oxidants and milk sugar, which are used in an effective, natural preservation system that over years of trial and error has surpassed our dreams. Now we are able to preserve cosmetics “Faithfully, safely and consistently”.
According to microbiology “challenge tests”, and according to industry standards, our products – with our natural preservation system – stored at regular conditions, allows the products to be safe for use up to 4 to 5 years after manufacturing
Our natural preservative system has proven to work in all countries and conditions – whether cold, hot or humid. Paul Penders is among the few natural cosmetic manufacturers that can proudly claim to use a natural preservative system that is effective, not harmful to skin and good for the environment
and…. good for use in Egypt as well!
Thank you for your question.
